I am offering driving lessons focused on keeping you alive, not just on passing a test. I'll help instil the knowledge and skills needed to be a good driver and point out what constitutes a good attitude.
As a passenger, you have no doubt observed the example set by others behind the wheel. Unfortunately, this exposes us to habits, both good and bad that have developed over time in the drivers. I'll help to sort out the right from wrong. My lessons are structured and I will give you clear feedback on your progress. |
MotorkhanaCountry kids get to start their driving lives on farms well before city kids do.
A "paddock basher" to get them home from their bus stop and up the mile long driveway is a given. City kids don't get this opportunity and face their first time behind the wheel on a public street surrounded by at times aggressive drivers. Motorkhanas are an opportunity for kids aged 12 to 17 to get behind the wheel in a safe and friendly environment, surrounded by other supportive, driving enthusiasts. They are conducted in a wide open carpark or on a wet skid pan and involve navigating through a series of flags from one "garage" and returning to another. They are a fun, non speed focused way of getting kids behind the wheel and learning how to drive. Students learn about car control through the correct application of steering, brake and accelerator. When to apply it and what is too little or too much. All of this is achieved before being put behind the wheel and having to face the pressures and stresses of other road users and traffic. Mums and dads are welcome to join in too. Kids aren't the only ones that can have a bit of fun! |
Vehicle Advice
Searching for a new vehicle and don't understand the jargon or technology that is now available?
ABS, ESC, CEB, TSC, CTA...the list is endless. Why is it there? What does it do? I'm happy to explain and demonstrate (if possible) what each safety system does and their benefits. |
